The camera is decent, and was easy to install. My only complaints are getting it connected to the wifi and getting the app set up. The instructions were vague. I had to Google the type of camera to find out the name of the app. The only other issue is that it loses connection a couple times a week. I have to go unplug it and plug it back in. Not convenient if I'm away from the house at the time.

So easy to set up (you could probably even do it without reading the instructions) on the app! The app has so many little features that most cameras dont or cant provide. I got this to be able to view my big guy (hes a blue tongued skink around 2 feet long w tail) as I am often downstairs with my dogs or at work, unable to check on him for hours at a time, only doing so at night to feed him and check the setup. The camera is super lightweight but I was totally NOT ready for the loud voice prompts lol?? I would certainly buy again??

The problem I've faced

1. The maximum recording time is 15 Seconds sooooo short

2. Unable to view live video on Alexa app but L1 cam can view the live video on it.

3. Doesn't record humans at night, it doesn't record any human unless the distance between them is less than 4 meters, the motion sensitivity

4. Cloud recording missed a lot of videos than local storage

5. The camera thought the sound the USPS vehicle made is a glass break

6. The power cable doesn't work, but I'm glad third-party cable can be used, customer service help me in a timely manner

Feedback

-Since this camera has a camera mount hole, why don't just include a camera mount like the L1 camera, I prefer those camera mounts since it's easy to take off from the wall.

-cold down is too long which means if someone is trying to break into your car it records 15-seconds rests 1 minute and records 15 seconds again

I love this camera it is in a dark room but you wouldn't know it because even without night vision on you get clear pictures and videos in the dark. It is a indoor/outdoor camera. This tiny little camera is magnificent. I can’t believe the picture that it gives you. Even when it’s raining, snowing or invisibility is not very well. This camera still shows you a magnificent picture. The motion detection is fabulous on this camera. I don’t care if it’s the smallest of a creature passing by it will let you know! I plan on buying a few more of these cameras. for the price I paid it is worth it. I feel they are better than these expensive cameras out there. you will not be sorry if you purchase this camera.

This camera gives you a clear video in real-time. The picture quality is great and it allows you to closely monitor your surroundings and see what's going on there when you are not around. The only place we had to set this up was in a window. I was hoping to cut down on porch pirates this season. There is substantial glare at night in the window. This would be better in open air outside

This outdoor security camera does everything right. For one, the wire length is just the right size for it to reach our outdoor socket. The night vision on this is better than other cameras and the sound quality is pretty good too. As a plus it's light weight and small so it goes unnoticed by most if you need that. For those who need this to monitor their backyards at night, the flood light on the camera is really powerful and packs a punch. Overall, this camera does it better than other outdoor camera and at this price range is well worth the purchase.

Bought this cam to supplement the existing pan/tilt camera which auto-tracks people right up to the front door, but its range is limited.

I have the new cam mounted on the porch ceiling to capture the entire driveway as well as the street in front of my house. I also wanted a usb camera to plug into the existing 3-port usb adapter in the ceiling light fixture. It's attached to the ceiling by a single screw on its mount which is a nice change from the normal 3-4 screw mounts. Total setup time was less than 10 minutes from wifi pairing to fully installed and operational. The invert picture function is in the Installation section on the app...I guess they figure you'll only use that feature once unless the camera is re-oriented.

Cam has excellent range and is very good at detecting motion as much as 75 feet away. You can provide feedback to the manufacturer if the detection of person, vehicle, or person/vehicle was correct, and if not, you can optionally upload the video to their servers so they can improve their AI. So far the detection is about 97% accurate, with almost no false positives. I turned off the package, pet and sound detection.

The major limitation of this cam is the minimum 1 minute "cooldown" (shortest period it can be reduced to) after it records its 15 second clip, so nothing will be recorded during that minute. I wouldn't recommend it as a primary camera for that reason, since most cams record until the movement stops once it's detected. Not a dealbreaker at this price though...as long as you can live with that limitation.

The motion detection sends notifications through the AiDot app nearly instantly.

The night vision works. If the infrared lights do not provide enough light, the camera turns on an additional (white) light that allows the video to be in color. When the infrared lights are on, the video recording is slower than actual, and the speed is normal while the light is on (either from the room/environment or the bright white light).

The video (and probably audio) can be recorded on a local Micro SD card for later viewing.

The AiDot app shows a watermark on the video, which isn't bad, though it is intrusive. Using the "Speak" (telephone receiver) icon in the app allows near-instant (about one-quarter of a second delay) speaking. The audio (and probably video) is about one second delayed from live.

The camera could be mounted to a wall easily and includes mounting hardware.

The AiDot app can be connected to Alexa and then each added camera can be viewed with Echo Show (or similar) video devices.

This camera does not support RTSP and must be used through the AiDot app (unless a third-party app exists, though that hasn't been tested by me at this time).

There is no pan, tilt, or zoom available on this camera, however, enlarging is available within the video stream.

I would probably not buy this again because of the watermark in the app, and I prefer to have RTSP and PTZ functionalities. Having FTP or similar to access the internal storage card would be nice, too.

liked everything about this camera.Clear picture. Good night vision. I bought a longer Usb cord so I can have it in the position of the house I wanted. Good notification. The only negative is if you position the camera with the hanging part & upside position, it will video it that way but I was able to reposition the camera on my phone to give full picture & in the current position to view/ Going to buy one for my mom.

?PROS: It’s really nice that you can control everything in the app and it is super easy to use and set up. When you are on the camera playback screen in the app and you take a picture or a video, it automatically saves to your photos on your phone. The video quality is really good and the quality is super bright. Video shows the perspective of looking at the app and using the different features. The mounting kit is really easy to use and it can be put anywhere.

CONS: As far as I can tell it HAS to be connected to power to work. I think the “wireless” in the description refers to that it hooks up through wifi.

It works great but not what we wanted. It's almost a better "Garage" or "Indoor" Camera. For a security camera outdoor I would prefer one that can move/rotate.

This camera has great night vision, and the light is so bright. So far it detects motion as soon as it happens and takes a small video through the app, even without an sd card.

It also detects smoke and co2, as well as glass breaking. So far a great little camera for the price. I’m pretty impressed with it.

The app that comes with it was a little harder to function, I had to add the camera manually through the app instead of scanning the QR code but it synced up perfect doing it that way.

I love this outdoor security camera. My husband installed one at the front door, one on the garage, and another for the patio and backyard. I really feel safe being able to see the movement and traffic that happens around my house. It connects with my cell phone and allows 2-way audio so when I have deliveries and I can catch the serviceman, I can provide verbal real time instructions to place items on the back patio. When I am home, I can also see when my dog is being mischievous and can tell him to stop. The camera’s video quality is great! There is a brightening feature for night film so I can still see. I highly recommend these cameras.

Got this camera partially to keep an eye on my small garden, see what's been eating the plants. The picture is great and it's got some pretty solid IR night vision. The cable it comes with is a bit short so if your installing outside should probably get a USB extension cord.

The motion detection, at least from this angle, is a bit wonky however. It was detecting a bag of soil as a pet all night at first. Had to turn down the sensitivity to reduce the notifications. People detection works fine however. It's just the sensitivity that I haven't been able to fine tune.

The picture quality is amazingly clear , even at night, I can see the surrounding movement . The camera will accurately notify when it detects motion, and the plug in design saves the trouble of buying batteries. The screen can be set to 180 % rotation, so u can hang it upside down on the wall . It has many functions. In addition to people detection, it can also detect packages and vehicles. It is really really really helpful for me , I will definitely recommend it to my friends!

This outdoor security camera is a low-cost alternative is much more expensive security cameras. It was extremely easy to set up because of the intuitive UI within the app. You can modify practically any security feature from the app and even sound the alarm when a person walks by. That's right, it has people, pets, delivery drivers (in beta stages), and vehicle detection all within the app which can be turned on and off for each setting. You can even change the sensitivity of the detection mode. The speakers in the unit get quite loud, but there is some distortion. I don't plan on using them anyway. I would like to have seen a longer USB cord included in the box, but the one they have will be plenty good for being an indoor camera. The camera and video quality do not seem "2k" to me, but it is more than good enough to capture important details for security. This camera is awesome and I hope you make the right choice by purchasing this!

?The set up was easy and straight forward. The camera is lightweight so it sets up easily indoor and outdoor without a problem. The live view and video recordings are very clear and the audio works great regardless of day or night. Although it is promoted with video recording of 15 seconds I am only getting 13 seconds. The length of the recording is preset and cannot be changed in settings. I really like that you can zoom in on recordings, snap pictures on key moments within a recording, share the video thru messenger, text message, email, or any platform of your choosing. The camera is sensor motion and is able to identify whether the movement is a package, vehicle, person, or a pet. You are able to enable and disable what movement you are interested in the settings. So far the identification of movement has been accurate with the exception of 1 video recording. The camera comes with 3 free months of cloud storage service. After the trail subscription expires I want to see if the quality or functionality the camera changes by using only the micro SD card storage; I will update my review when I reach this point. Overall, the camera works great and comes with a very attractive price. I like it and highly recommend it.

This camera was very easy to set up and it even automatically connected to my Alexa app as I have other branded products that use the same app. The alarm is very loud, but that is a good thing. The live view is really clear as well and it was easy to adjust the camera to the angle I needed.

I did not mount it on the wall with the screw. I actually mounted the camera with Command strips as I live in an apartment and do not want to add holes in the wall, but it has held up really well as the camera is pretty light weight.

It has a slot for an SD card and the ability to subscribe to the cloud so that is very convenient as well.

Overall, this camera works really well and I will be purchasing additional ones for other parts of my house soon.

Considering all the outdoor activities occurring in my neighborhood, I decided to get this outdoor spotlight camera. As I have some other cameras, this was one of the easiest cameras to setup and mount. In addition, the video was very clear within the APP and I could hear the audio just fine. As I had other cameras already using the app, it was easy to detect this camera within the app. Considering the quality of the video compared to some of the other cameras, I would certainly be looking at getting another camera.

The video is very clear both at night and during the day. Having the spotlight feature and the ability to turn it off is a huge plus . Setup was very easy. Being able to choose what the camera picks up is great. My other camera picks up cars driving by and that can get annoying. This camera allows you to turn that feature off. Very happy with this find.
