But I just see my cat avoiding me, and get notifications of him without me, and even with a speaker he won’t come when I call. As a product it’s good. But it won’t make your cat love you more, he’ll just think he owns the place even more than he did before at your expense.

The picture on this camera is amazing quality - you can zoom, rotate, and speak into the camera (it’s 2 way audio) all from the app so it’s really, really easy to use. We recently left our cats for 4 days and having this camera to watch them took out so much stress from our trip because we could make sure they were still eating, drinking, and playing. I also think having the ability to check in on them and talk to them helped with their anxiety. My older cat would come when I called them and sit in front of it listening to me (cute!) I was also impressed by the night vision, both of my cats are black and I could clearly see them as if it were just a black and white camera. If we ever have to leave again, I’ll love having this camera to watch and talk to them. Highly recommend!!

I use this camera to keep and eye on my pets. I have automatic feeders but wasn't sure what their eating habits were while I was at work so I set this camera up to learn how they ate throughout the day. That way I could setup a feeding schedule that would then let me get away on weekends to visit my grandkids.
I found the setup pretty easy. I chose place the camera on the wall, looking down over their food dispensers. The app was very easy to install and the live view is excellent quality. I have to get an SD card so I can use the record feature and look back over time to review, rather than just using the Live feature.
It's really a great little camera with a nice long USB cord so it sits up and out of the way. I want to pick up another one since one of my cats gets up to no-good in my bathroom and I'll be able to easily find out who with this type of camera. I would totally recommend to friends and family! Would make a great addition in a gift basket to a new homeowner too!

This is a pretty decent camera for the money. Set up was very easy and it works very well. The picture quality is great and will work perfectly for my needs.
I realize many have difficulty connecting this to their WiFi. This is likely because this camera requires a 2.4 ghz wireless band. My router just happens to be dual band so I have both 2.4 and 5 ghz. Anyone ordering definitely want to check that your router has dual band capability. While 2.4 GHz offers lower speed, it offers increased range and higher solid object penetration than 5Ghz - which is why it is often the choice for many electronic devices such as this camera.
So far I don't have any complaints. As I get more time using this I will update my review if anything comes up.
