This is a solid, well built, stable camera. It has great resolution, great night vision, great app response, good motion detection, fairly decent speaker and is small, compact and palm size. I'm not crazy about the limited mounting options, you got two. Magnetic and magnetic. And with the magnetic ball, it's hard to sometimes get the camera to stay at the angle you want it to. The features of the camera and app is relatively simple, straight forward, without any bells and whistles. You can set human detection, you can set pet detection and related zones where the alarm triggers when those zones are violated. I haven't used the pet feature much, simply because my dog and go and do whatever she wants in the house. I don't need that feature. The live streaming display syncs with real time, very consistently. I experience very little lag time, maybe 2 seconds. I like the camera, I think it's a good quality camera worth investing in. Where I think the camera fails is in it's handling of the recordings. Weather it's short event video recordings or continuous recording. Both really fail when it comes to your ability to access and watch them. First of all, if you choose to do continuous recording. There is NOTHING and I mean NOTHING in the app feed that indicates that the video is really recording. I literally discovered that the camera had been recording for 3 days straight. When the SD was full. Now here is the weird part, the camera records everything in one minute individual files. ?????? do you realize how many seperate files that comes out too? Thats 1, 440 clips each day. A total of 4320 individual files/clips. With no way to view them EXCEPT on my phone, through the app, in 1 minute incremints that CONSTATNLY froze every 10-12 seconds for a long 4-5 second buffering time. It was so damn annoying. I really really resent the fact that the camera and app REFUSES to let me (The Owner of the Video Content) access my own files off the SD card. But no, it encrypts them and forces you to view them through the internet web bandwidth of your Wi-Fi, one minute at a time. Totally not right. What happens if I need to use some video for a police report. I can't even provide law enforcement a copy of the video. It's stupid, it's wrong and it need to be changed. This is the same for event recordings, which are only written to the cloud which you are forced to subscribe too. So not only does the app refuse you access to your own requested, continuous video recordings, but then restricts and holds ransom your actual trespassing, intrusion videos. Yes, the first month of cloud they give you free. Just to force your hand. I wasn't impressed by their playback smoothness or ease. When you're only option to view a record of video recordings is through the app or cloud, you are bottle necked by the bandwidth, the apps slowness and load time etc. Just really annoying.

This is my first experience with in-house security cameras, and with only a few days of use, I'm kicking myself I did not do this sooner. Right out of the box, in my photo, you can figure out the simple assembly without instructions, I appreciate simplicity. I do pet babysitting for friends and neighbors, and working from home I am very hands-on. The pets have complete access to family room and kitchen and the outdoor enclosed patio with ground area for potty. So they become largely self-sufficient, giving me time to work in my office. This camera is to keep my eyes on them when I am not in the room with them. It has worked beautifully, and I intend to hook up to the cloud and pay for this service, it is only pennies a day, as this guarantees real security in the unfortunate instance of home invasion. This camera is top-notch quality offering more than I knew to need or want, and for a price that is too good to pass up. I highly recommend this camera particularly if you need a simple and intelligent quality introduction to home security cameras.

Deducting 1 ?? because home sharing didn’t work per instructions.??Required resetting camera.??Just logged in 2nd account with same credentials, but that’s not the point of Home sharing feature. I absolutely love this product! I use it to watch my dogs while I’m gone so I love that it has a two-way audio feature so I can talk to them. The app has a pet-sitting feature that shows which area of your house your dog likes to hang out in. It has good night vision and audio feedback. I like that you can record and snap pictures as well. The app also allows you to connect to other smartphone devices like Alexa which is super helpful!

Camera is small fairly easy to install and offers a lot of features for a relatively low cost point.
Live look in from the app is quick. Something you want in a baby cam.
The motion detection works very well with3 sensitivity settings; but the notifications are a little bit slow. About 60-120 seconds
I've included snaps of the app screens. Playback is simple and images are very clear

I was impressed with the night vision. Its B&W (as night vision mostly is in these cams) and works well with little ambient lighting

The USB connector at the camera does not fit as snugly as it could.

Overall this is a good mini camera

Very easy to install and works quite effectively as well.

The camera fits onto a powerful magnetic dome which allows easy positioning of the cameras to capture the right view.

The app used for the device is very easy to use and it allows you to define sensitive zone in the image. This allow you to pinpoint an area looking for movement.

There is an online storage video service available at a reasonable cost.

My only dislike is the need to have the cable plugged into the device all the time, but that seems the only option to achieve this mini design.

On the whole, i think that you’d have to go far to find another camera with this design and price.

As the headline suggests, I'm primarily using this as a cam for my 2 dogs (Lab and Bichon) while I'm away from the house. I know for a fact I'm not using the full functionality of this device, but I've dabbled with the other features enough to appreciate them, and even in choosing to not fully utilize the device, for the price, it is still a great camera for my purposes! I consider it to have feature margin for when/if I decide to implement more security or features in my house, beyond just checking in on my dogs from time to time.

The magnet mount works well, it securely holds the camera right where you position it, and after a few days, I have not seen any drooping or alignment problems. I tested out many locations in my living room to find the best angle, using the standard base, and then, after finding a sweet spot, I used the stick on mount to the wall - worked well. App is nice. Set up was a breeze; not very complicated and didn't take long. I won't use SD storage. I don't plan to use speaker, as to not stress out my dogs.

There are a few things I could complain about, and while they aren't deal breakers for me and my needs, they might be important for you to consider. There are occasional connectivity problems, which I know are not entirely caused by my wifi/internet - the feed will just freeze and have to reconnect. This is made worse if you are in HD mode. For me, that means I have ~5 seconds of missed live feed (maybe per every 15 minutes of use... if I had to guess at frequency, as an FYI), which amounts to me missing my dog doing something cute in the worst case, but for someone using this as a security camera or a baby monitor, I could see this causing a lot more stress/grief. Again, though, for my uses, this is not a major problem. Also, while the night vision is decent, the auto adjustment does not have an adjustable sensitivity, which I, personally, disagree with the preset threshold. However, I just leave it manual, so it's not a big deal. My last gripe would be that the provided power cable is something like 5ft (didn't measure it, but fair guess), which isn't really great if you are trying to have a higher vantage perspective of the room and need to reach a standard outlet. However, it's a standard micro USB cable - if it's that much of a problem, just get another one.

All in all, I'm satisfied with this for my uses.

Overall the setup process took about 5 minutes and we are able to get clear video monitoring for our puppy. The audio speaking sounds a little robotic but given the price this monitor is quite nice. We did not try setting up the automatic detection but even without it this seems like a very good indoor pet camera/baby monitor for the price.

I love the features of this camera. We bought this for a baby monitor and nanny cam.
It detects motion and will alert the user on the app. It seems to require a cloud service to work beyond 7 days on some features. Has a memory card slot for local storage.
The image is a bit distorted from the fish eye lens but that is fine. No issues on our side with that. The audio speak through function works fine but is a bit tinny to hear on the camera side - but is understandable.
Camera says not 5g compatible for wifi - but it connected to ours just fine.

Overall this does everything we want - and we will likely be paying for the cloud service to keep the app functioning for the year -
    Great item - recommended!

The Winees Baby monitor has many features that work well for home security, but as a baby monitor it could use some work.

Out of the box it was easy to set up. You scan the code on the quick start instructions and then follow the prompts to set up your account and link the camera to your account. It took about 6 minutes to complete this step. Your time may vary depending upon if you are doing this through your Wi-Fi, or if you are doing this with your cell phone signal without Wi-Fi.

There is no printed manual to explain the software and how to navigate the software, but both my daughter and I found it to be fairly easy to use. You need to play with it a little to get it to perform certain tasks, such as sending notifications if there is any motion that triggers the camera to send you a notice (or banner) to check your phone to see what is going on in the video. You can also "Invite" others to have access to the camera via their cell phone. For my test I had my daughter set up the camera on her phone and then send me an invite so I could access the camera from my phone. It took me less than 2 minutes to click on the link and upload the software to my phone. Once I did, I had access to the camera.

The night vision works well. You can see everything in dark, extremely low light conditions. It's just in black and white and not quite as sharp as under daylight.

As a baby monitor, I found it to be not as effective as other monitors which have a speaker set up at both the baby's crib, and your bedroom. If you have a speaker at both ends you hear it immediately when your bay is crying. With the Winees camera you get a notification sent to your phone if there is a lot of motion at the crib. You then open up the app to hear, view, and speak to the child. This notification sounds like any other notification such as text messages, calendar reminders, or other banner items that get sent to your phone. If you are a heavy sleeper or normally get a lot of texts or other notifications pushed to your phone, you could sleep through or ignore it. If it immediately opened your app and you heard the live sound coming from the crib it would be much better. A work around this is to just leave the app up and running at all times, but we found that this runs the phone battery down quickly.

Just a side note on the audio. My granddaughter did not like my daughter talking to her through the speaker on the camera. It slightly distorts the sound since it is just a small speaker. Change can be tough on a lot of people but when her mommies voice changed, she cried.

I loved it as a security system camera. I could go out and check the camera on my phone no matter where I was. I just needed either a good Wi-Fi connection or a cell signal. When I am at my home, I was easily able to see the camera set up at my daughter's house 25 miles away. When I set up at my home on my front entrance, I was able to check the video from phone when I was out shopping. When used as a security camera you can set it up to send a notification to your phone if it detects activity in front of the camera. Just be aware that this is not meant to be an outdoor camera. It does not appear to be waterproof or weather resistant. I set mine up to view the main intersection of rooms in my home to see if anyone has entered the house. It looks like you can add additional cameras to provide wider coverage, but I was not able to test this out with only the one camera.

The images are clear, you can have the video recoded to and SD card, or the cloud. If you save it to the cloud, you have to use AiDot's cloud storage. There is 24 hours of free storage, but to get more it costs $1.99 per month.

If I was rating this as just a home security camera, I would have rated it 5 stars. Since they advertised it as a baby monitor/home security camera I marked it at 4 stars because of the issue with how it notified you or having the app needing to be open all of the time. For the price, I thought it was well made and the app is fairly easy to use.

Compared to other similar cameras this is more expensive and the audio quality of it's built-in speaker is poor, and hard to understand.

The Video quality is acceptable, but the contrast is poor. It has a hard time with brighter areas in rooms or dark areas.

Set up is easy, scan a QR code, download the app, follow the instructions and you are done in a few minutes.

Once connected you get a free trial for their services, as well a an email with a link with some resources to access the features of the camera.

Overall this has a solid feel, and we liked the magnetic attachment options. However due to the video quality and speaker quality with this price we feel there are better options.

I was extremely impressed with the video quality of this camera. I placed it in the nursery I have set up for my grandsons. I can see him clearly even when it is dark. If he starts to get out of his crib I will know immediately. He had severe childhood asthma and I especially like I can check in on him and see how his breathing is without opening the door, waking him up. My daughter has a much more expensive camera at her house but this one is much better quality. I highly recommend it.
